I train my clients in Anytime Fitness Canonmills, Edinburgh (1 Tanfield, Inverleith Row, Edinburgh EH3 5DA) You will NOT be required to join the gym or sign up for any membership. The cost of the guest pass is included in your session price.

Diana Garcia - PhD student. - Goal: Weight loss and Toning
While studying for my PhD I was gaining weight steadily through the 4 years, gradually ending up 15kg heavier because of stress and eating all the wrong things while working in the lab.
I decided enough was enough and started working with Grady. Honestly it was the best decision I could have made at the time as I started seeing weight loss quickly and the way I trained was helping me de-stress. In 3 months I lost 9% of my body fat and gained a lot of strength and some muscle mass, this resulted in a loss of 6kg from 73kg down to 67kg.
The continued support via email whenever I had a challenging week and being able to call on a Sunday evening with any troubles I was having was a great motivator and I learned to use this service more as time went on.
I would never had been able to be as confident and happy as I am now if I had not started training with Grady, so when he asked for a review I immediately thought of all the people who are stuck, like I was, stressed and intimidated by exercise. You will not regret working with Grady for a second.

After six months of going to the gym on my own I felt stuck in my training. Since I started training with PT Grady there has been significant improvement in my results and I enjoy my exercise again. First we discussed my general health, training routine and diet. Following this we concluded that my overall aim was to strengthen my upper body, arms and back muscles. We then established achievable goals during this initial assessment meeting. After that we agreed to have one to one sessions once a week for 5 weeks. Length of each session was 1 hour.
Grady came well prepared to each session and introduced me to number of new routines. For example, I have never been keen on kettlebell training, but after being properly introduced to this method by Grady it became one of my favourite exercise methods.
The overall results just after 5 weeks were remarkable. After each weekly session with Grady: I repeated the training routine he had introduced on my own at least once before our next session.
Grady also encouraged me to write down and reflect on the everyday challenges that might impact on my training routine. This method helped me to prepare and plan my training when traveling or having busy week at work.
Grady is very inspirational, talented and skilled trainer. Most of all I enjoyed training with him, because of his engaging character. I can highly recommend him without reservations.
